    The Faquetigue Mardi Gras run takes place outside of Eunice Louisiana and is a total blast. Jane played guitar almost the whole time. The tradition is to go from house to house collecting chicken for the gumbo at the end of the day. It ended with a big party at Joel Savoy’s house.

    If the video playback catches up with the downloading then it will stutter. Pause it and let more load in before you play it.

    The clip-clop music is the famous version of the Mardi Gras Song (heard dozens of times on Mardi Gras day) by Nathan Abshire and the Balfa Brothers. The other version is by Michael Doucet and BeauSoleil.
